  • WHY YOU NEED A BASE STAND: Sand filters need a base stand to stabilize the tank. When a sand filter tank is full of water and sand it can become top-heavy which may result in tipping over. A firm, levelled base helps protect the filter, pump and piping while maintaining proper water circulation.
  • HOW TO CHANGE STAND: This Base Stand does not require any tools or screws for installation. The base is designed with a unique curvature that conforms to the bottom of the tank. All you need to do is place the sand filter on top of the base stand. Due to the inside shape of this base stand it is not compatible with most sand filters.
  • PRODUCT DETAILS: The Base Stand is made of a durable polymer plastic. Measurements are: Inside Diameter- ID: 10 - 5/8 inches (266.7 mm) and Outside Diameter- OD: 15 - 3/4 inches (381 mm).
